Cutovers between flights.

Airport operations centers, baggage controls, terminal technology and the buildings around them. We plan every overnight cutover with airport operations and rehearse it first, so every flight keeps moving.

What owners need from us.

01

The airport never closes

Passengers, aircraft and ground crews move through the site every day. Work is phased around gates, peaks and the overnight lull.

02

Security comes first

Airside work means badged crews, escorted deliveries and controlled access points. Every truck and every worker is accounted for.

03

Cutovers have one shot

Baggage controls, fire alarm, power and communications tie into systems already in use. Each cutover has a MOP, a rehearsal and a back-out plan.

What we build.

  1. 01

    Airport operations centers

Ops floors with video walls, consoles, redundant power and the network paths that connect them to the field.

  2. 02

    Baggage controls and screening

Controls upgrades, conveyor tie-ins and screening rooms installed beside the system in use.

  3. 03

    Terminal technology and power

Communications rooms, distributed antenna systems, UPS and electrical upgrades in live terminals.

  4. 04

    Terminals and concourses

Gates, holdrooms and passenger processing on landside and airside.

In practice · Airport Operations Center & Baggage Controls

An overnight cutover with every flight on time.

The airport operations center and baggage controls upgrade was delivered under CM at-risk while the terminal stayed open. The new ops center was built and tested in parallel, baggage controls were proven with trial bags, and the cutover ran overnight under a rehearsed MOP. Every flight kept moving.

Questions owners ask us.

How do you cut over a live baggage system?

We build and test the new controls in parallel, run trial bags, rehearse the switch and cut over in the overnight window with a back-out plan ready.

How do you manage security on an airport job?

Every worker is badged or escorted, deliveries are screened, and access points are staffed and logged throughout the project.

Can you build an operations center while the old one stays live?

Yes. The new room is built, powered and tested first. Operations move position by position, with the existing center running until the airport signs off.
