The go-live date ships on your truck.

On a mission-critical job, a late switchboard or UPS moves the energization date. We lock long-lead procurement early and look for suppliers who quote honest lead times, ship complete and tell us the moment a factory slot moves.

What we look for

Suppliers who protect the go-live.

  1. S1

    Honest lead times

Quotes with real lead times, early warning when a production slot moves, and a recovery plan when it does.

  2. S2

    Submittals that match the spec

Product data, shop drawings, one-lines and certifications that match the specification the first time, so release is never held up.

  3. S3

    Factory testing that counts

Factory witness tests scheduled with our commissioning team, with results that carry straight into the Level 1 and 2 record.

  4. S4

    Deliveries that fit the site

Shipments sequenced to the install plan, staged for the laydown we actually have and tagged so crews can find what they need.

  5. S5

    Support through start-up

Field technicians for start-up, functional testing, integrated systems testing and warranty, long after the last truck leaves.

In practice · On-Site Power Plant for a Data Campus

Long-lead gear, locked in early.

Generation sets, switchyard gear and fuel systems for a dedicated plant that powers a data campus. Production slots were reserved in preconstruction, factory tests were witnessed by our commissioning team, and deliveries were sequenced to the install plan so the critical path never waited on a truck.

Supplier questions.

Is supplier registration the same as subcontractor prequalification?

No. Suppliers who furnish materials or equipment register here. If your firm also installs work on site, complete subcontractor prequalification as well.

What are your payment terms?

Terms are stated on each purchase order at award. Invoices that tie to the PO and delivery records are processed on those terms.

Do you buy for the whole company or project by project?

Both. Our supply chain team arranges some agreements across projects, and project teams buy for their own jobs. Registration puts you in front of both.

Do you work with local and small suppliers?

Yes. Local supply shortens lead times and supports the communities we build in. Emerging suppliers can also join Rising Trade Partners.

How do I update our product lines or contacts?

Email conversations@scottharry.com with the change and we will update your supplier profile.
