Career paths

Four ways in.

Whether you run a site, terminate fiber, price the work or are just getting started, there is a path here with room to grow.

01 · Field

Field leadership

Superintendents, assistant superintendents and foremen who run the site every shift. Pull plans, trade huddles, shutdown windows, site logistics and the call to stop when something looks wrong all live here.

  • Superintendents
  • Foremen
  • Field engineers
  • Safety
02 · Technical

MEP, low-voltage and commissioning

The people who make a building work. Coordinating electrical, mechanical, low-voltage, AV and security scopes, then proving every system through Level 1 to 5 commissioning and integrated systems tests.

  • MEP coordinators
  • Low-voltage leads
  • Commissioning
  • Quality
03 · Project

Project and preconstruction teams

Estimators, project managers, VDC specialists and project controls. RFIs, submittals, long-lead procurement and cost reports are where a go-live is protected or lost.

  • Estimating
  • Project management
  • VDC
  • Procurement
  • Controls
04 · Early career

Students, apprentices and new graduates

Internships, apprenticeships and entry roles that put you inside a data hall or control room early. You get a mentor, real responsibility and a clear view of the next step.

Life at ScottHarry

What it is like to build here.

  1. 01

The work matters on day one

When a facility you built goes live, people make 911 calls, read MRI scans and run their businesses on it. You will feel that.

  2. 02

    You own real work early

New engineers run submittals, walk inspections and witness tests. New foremen lead crews. We give people responsibility and back them while they learn.

  3. 03

    Leaders are on site

Our founder and senior leaders walk the work. You will learn from people who have run shutdowns and commissioned data halls themselves.

  4. 04

    Skills that are in demand

MEP coordination, low-voltage, commissioning and live-environment work are some of the most valuable skills in construction. You build them here.

Questions we hear.

Do you post open roles on this site?

Not yet. Email our team and we will match you to current and upcoming openings across our projects.

Do I need data center or mission-critical experience?

Not for every role. Experience in live environments helps, but strong field habits and a willingness to learn matter more. We teach the rest on site.

Can I move between paths?

Yes. Foremen become superintendents, field engineers move into commissioning or project management, and we help people make those moves.

Will I travel?

It depends on the role and the project. Some positions stay close to home, and some follow the work. We talk about it openly before you join.
